| Sorry it took me so long Leann... but here's the latest. My favorite nephew ever (I can only say that because he's the only one I have....) He is 4 months old today and doing wonderfully. So much for being a preemie. He's growing so fast. And let me tell you, he has NO lung problems. His screaming testifies to that. Wow.

| I know he's only 3 days old, but this is my new favorite picture..... :)

| As of 7:36 this morning, I am officially an Aunt for the first time, and now forever!! (more details later, much to do much to do).
Edit: Okay, more information for you baby hungry women out there....
Elijah Jonathan Padial was born at 7:36 AM today. He is 4 lbs. 15 oz. and 18.5 inches long. He was born 6 weeks early but he is breathing on his own!!! They are going to keep him for probably 1-2 weeks because he is so very little and needs to get strong.
Mom (my sister) is doing good. Elijah was born C-section because he was breech yet wanted to come out so very badly (much like his impatient father!!).
As requested, here are the latest pictures - he is only 1 hour old!

| My TU girls (from Leann's wedding) would be so proud.... I spent over an hour yesterday in an 8-acre corn maze!! And I survived!! Not to say that my fear of corn is forever gone... I have to remember that it was still light outside so I could see all around me. We will have to work on the possibility of going into the corn in the dark now. Mike seems to think he can get me to go to a haunted corn maze that we have in town... all I can say is good luck to him. That will be a feat for another time. All in all it was a very fallish day - we went to the apple orchard and had apple cider by the fire and then went through the corn maze down the street and picked out pumpkins. We then came back and cheered OSU to victory. Ahh football. I'm fanatic now. It's strange how these things happen with the changing of the weather. Sad however that the Bengals fell apart today... my poor boys. Next week is all I can say. Next week. Starting next week I will be house sitting for a few weeks - it will be like living on my own in a big big house!! I'm worried that I might get scared though because it's unfamiliar territory to be alone in the house. And there's only a cat to protect me - a cat that gets in fights with neighborhood animals often... haha. The weather today was amazing and it's only going to get hotter. I don't want it to be in the 80s this week though... I was enjoying the fall weather too much! Fires, pumpkins, apples, s'mores...mmmm..... | | |
